Some of our scheduled events include, but are not limited to,:
- Two (2) Shiloh Shepherd Specialty Shows
- CGC, Therapy Dog Testing, Temperament Testing & Shiloh Breed Ambassador Testing
- Silent Auction
- Dog Olympics – bring your Olympic spirit! Games for you and your dog. No experience needed. A touch of fun, a touch of obedience and whole lot of silliness for all ages!
- Catered Lunches
- Halloween Themed Event – dress up and we’ll choose the best costume for a prize. Decorate your Tent!
We have rented a pavilion along with a wide expanse of field at Caledonia State Park near Fayetteville, Pennsylvania for the ISSDC/Mid-Atlantic Region’s Annual Barktoberfest Event.
We have SO MUCH FUN planned for everyone this year. Like past Barktoberfests, this will be a casual weekend to hang out with friends, love on plenty of Shilohs and Shilohs-by-association, and earn some show points. We’ll hold a conformation show on Saturday afternoon and the second on Sunday afternoon.
We do encourage participants to pre-register so we can estimate how much food and drink we’ll need. Follow the links below for detailed information about the show.
And lastly, we’d like to offer a silent auction with the proceeds going to the ISSDC/Mid-Atlantic Holter Program and other endeavors that support the ISSDC’s mission. If you have a basket or gift you’d like to donate, please let Marti or Rhonda know so we can keep track and thank you enthusiastically for participating.

Photography & Videography Policy:
Only photographer(s) and videographer(s) expressly approved by the International Shiloh Shepherd Dog Club (ISSDC) are authorized to capture photographs or videos at any ISSDC-sponsored event for commercial purposes and/or for profit. All other photography or videography must be strictly for personal, non-commercial use. The sale or distribution for a profit from any photographs or videos taken by unauthorized individuals is expressly prohibited, this includes soliciting for tips or donations in exchange for pictures and/or videos taken.
Any member found to be in violation of this policy, including but not limited to profiting from unauthorized photographs or videos, shall be subject to disciplinary measures, including the forfeiture of all show points earned during the event if the violator’s dog participated. The ISSDC reserves the right to impose additional sanctions or disciplinary actions against any member found in breach of this policy.

How to Submit Win Sheets
- effective 1/1/2024 all winsheets must be submitted electronically
- winsheets must be submitted no later than 45 Days from Date of Show

- Each year the ISSDC will award the coveted Grand Victor and Grand Victrix (GV) awards as well as the top 10 National Selects (NS).
Handling Class Policy
- No impromptu handling classes shall be conducted at any ISSDC-sponsored event without prior approval from the Event Organizers. Any fees collected for approved handling classes must be directed to benefit the Club. Unauthorized handling classes or the retention of fees for personal profit is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action by the Club.
Our Events are the perfect place for EVERYONE! Whether a long-time owner, someone waiting for their new puppy, or simply interested in learning about the breed, our events are the perfect place to meet Shiloh Shepherds. You do not need to participate in the show to come.
