My appreciation and love for the Shiloh breed began as an adult. Years ago, our two much-loved long coat GSDs both succumbed to DM. We were heartbroken. Our research for a similar, but more healthy, breed of dog led us to discover the Shiloh Shepherd. We knew that this was the dog for which we had been searching.
Cooper was our first Shiloh, in 2014. Bella, and then “baby” Max, added to the family, soon afterward. We didn’t have any initial intention to show or breed our Shilohs, but enthusiasm for the Shiloh breed resulted in both.
I love the Shiloh Shepherd breed and will do my best to further a positive influence on health, temperament and good stewardship.
