Shilohs At Work

The International Shiloh Shepherd Dog Club has quickly become “THE CLUB” of choice for many longtime Shiloh Shepherd owners. In this organization, breeders and Shiloh enthusiasts are working together to increase Performance and Companion opportunities as well as provide equal representation of the Shiloh Shepherd breed in the working dog community.

The Shiloh Shepherd has proven to be very versatile and often enjoys various activities such as Herding, Obedience, Agility & Therapy. Known for their steadfast temperaments – the Shiloh is a frequent recipient of the American Kennel Club’s “Canine Good Citizen” and “Temperament Test” awards. Shilohs have also been found very valuable in the roles of Livestock Guardian, Search and Rescue, Detection, Seizure Alert & Service Assistant. Many of these dogs are also Champions of record in the breed ring.

The ISSDC is very proud to honor the outstanding temperament, trainability and working skills of our Shiloh Shepherd breed. SHILOHS AT WORK has been created to feature numerous Awards, Certificates and Titles pertaining to these valuable accomplishments.

Shiloh Shepherds are intelligent, talented, and versatile dogs, capable of excelling in multiple arenas beyond the conformation ring.

The ISSDC wishes to recognize and award these special Shilohs for their involvement in the realm of non-conformation dog activities.
