Cabin Run Shilohs

"We are Myra and John York and we live on 6 rolling acres in Mount Airy, Maryland. We share our home and lives with our two wonderful Shiloh Shepherds, Wolf and Lady.

Our goal as a breeder at Cabin Run Shilohs is to contribute to and help improve the Shiloh breed. We believe that Shiloh Shepherds make excellent family companions, and many of them are well suited to working as therapy dogs, service dogs, obedience, herding and show dogs. Training and on-going socialization bring out the best in our Shilohs, and we are committed to begin this process early, even before our pups go to their forever homes.

We have health tested Lady extensively, and we're hoping to pass on her great health and sweet and stable temperament, as well as her good looks, show conformation and working abilities. We think it's important to have titles on both ends of a dog's name when possible, and we will continue to do this to celebrate our versatile breed.

We are striving diligently to work with experienced breeders, and we're studying hard to find the very best mate for our breeding female Lady, in order to produce healthy, happy, quality pups that will love and be loved in their new homes, delighting their owners with their loyal, gentle and fun-loving natures.
