With all the happiness and joy that came with this event, a tragedy occurred when Rene Hafer suffered a heart attack near the end of the day on Sunday. Rene was tended to immediately by many of those in attendance, and CPR was performed until the emergency medical crew arrived. She was airlifted to a hospital in Pittsburgh where she finally passed on June 2nd. It was only a year ago that her mother Cheri Schell passed away, so please say a prayer for the Hafer/Schell families in this difficult time.
